Introducing the Dad Doody Podcast

Coming soon: Some dad-related conversations I think you'll enjoy

One of my goals for Dad Doody since the outset was to do a lot of reporting. And I have some good news on that front! I have a couple of interviews lined up over the next few weeks that I expect will produce a lot of fodder for newsletter content.

That leads me to a bit of a product announcement: Whenever it’s possible to do so, I’ll plan on recording interviews and distributing the audio through a podcast feed. I’ll likely also have a video version available, but I’m doing my best not to over-promise.

Dad Doody subscribers will get new episodes emailed straight to their inboxes, and the episodes will be available in the Substack app. They’ll also be available on other podcast apps; stay tuned for more detail on this front.

Podcast content will be completely free out of the gate. Though, as with the newsletter, if you want to become a paid subscriber in order to support this type of work, I’m not going to stop you. So here’s a subscribe button for you.

Dad Doody is a reader-supported publication. To receive new posts and support my work, consider becoming a free or paid subscriber.

Have some thoughts on who I should interview on the Dad Doody pod? I’d love to hear them! You can leave a comment on this post. Or if you’re reading this via email, you can reply to the email and it’ll go straight to my inbox.

Stay tuned for more. The first Dad Doody episode should be live in early March.
